From my email bin…
I delete it. I used to reply to it, and sometimes if it’s not hate mail, but just someone being phenomenally stupid, I might still reply. But lately I’ve taken to turfing the email as soon as I catch on that it’s hate, and tossing the sender onto my blacklist.
Basically I’ve never found any use in answering hate mail. Once someone’s at that level of stupid, there’s no way to talk them out without fighting and no one wins those fights.
Hater’s gonna hate.

I think that’s most likely the best approach. I’ve been taught that everything you do should be positive and bring you joy. These emails simply suck the life out of you and contribute to nothing but negativity. There’s enough of that…

There’s enough Russian in me that I’m a bit incapable of being positive all the time. Of course, sometimes I regret not saving all my hate mail to post on asshats.ipstenu.org
Celebrate the stupid. Mostly, it’s just a waste of my time.
